Racket Grip

Strokes

Hi,

I usually hold my racket with my middle finger on the triangle between the handle and the rubber. Now I have changed my grip by putting coiling my middle finger across the handle. Which is the correct grip or rather the better grip? I find the latter better because there is greater wrist movement allowed.

Thanks in advance!

HI Viki,

Yes it is better to have just your index finger on the rubber.  Your middle finger should be wrapped gently around the handle.  The more fingers you have on the rubber the tighter your wrist will get.  Try to keep your fingers relaxed during play as well.  This will allow better flexibility.
