My friends does a really hard smash, I try to block it but the smash makes me flinch and when i flinch I miss the chance of hitting the ball becuz my eyes were closed

Hi Morgen,

Firstly think about watching the ball all the way through the rally.  This will help you to keep your eyes open when you are receiving a smash.  Also move back away from the table to give yourself more time to react.
