Recommended space around the table

What are the minimum  spaces recommended for around the table and what are the recommended spaces around the table for single and doubles play?

Hi Marcel,

You need about 2 metres behind the table and about 1 to 1.5 on the sides.  But the more the better.

International courts are 14m by 7m.
