Hi there coach, I wanted to ask something about regluing tensor rubbers. I recently bought a tensor rubber a week ago and glued it on my wood. But as soon as i played with It, i noticed that it wasn't glued properly. I am planning to reglue it again but i'm afraid that i might destroy the rubber since it is only 1 week old. Is it ok to reglue it now or should i wait for a couple of weeks or months before i can reglue it?

Hi Wayne,

When you say it is not glued properly do you mean it is not sticking properly?

If that is the case, then you should take it off and re do it.

Often when you glue new rubber you will need two layers of glue on the rubber as the first layer sinks into the sponge.

Tone is in Your Fingers

There's is an old saying about guitar playing - tone is in your fingers. And If you've ever seen a really good guitarist play an old guitar then you'll understand how true that saying is. I know we go on a lot about this topic but it is so true. Once you've got yourself a decent bat, it's no longer up to the equipment, it's up to YOU!
