Equipment
Hi
I am asking you for how to remove the sponge layer from the bat. So please help me because i want change my bat rubber to improve it's skills, controls, spin and finally shots.
Notes:-
this sponge layer is very sticky to the blade because i was having the same bat before and tried to remove it. the bat was completely damage becase it tried to remove it very hard.
Hi Ahmed,
I use a solvent like Mineral turpentine or you can use rubbing alcohol to soften the sponge on the blade.
If it is really stubborn you can use sandpaper / gritpaper but be gentle to make sure you don't damage the wood.
There's is an old saying about guitar playing - tone is in your fingers. And If you've ever seen a really good guitarist play an old guitar then you'll understand how true that saying is. I know we go on a lot about this topic but it is so true. Once you've got yourself a decent bat, it's no longer up to the equipment, it's up to YOU!

I heard heating the glue up with hair dryer might work.
Yes that can also be a good way.

Remove the rubber from the sponge and use the pimpled side like a sandpaper, this always works best for me,i completely sanded a premade blade and no harm done, good luck
