In your opinion what is the best way to defend a backspin serve: return with the same backspin effect or try a topspin shot?

The rule here is that if the ball is going to bounce twice on your end of the table you can return it with a Push.
If it is only going to bounce once then use the Topspin against backspin stroke.
It will take you little bit of time to recgnise whether the ball is going to bounce once or more but if you pay attention to it you will imporve with it.
