I keep practicing on how to return a corkscrew serve but I couldn't. How can I return the corkscrew serve?
Hi Eileen,
The serve has sidespin on it. You need to push forward and away from the direction the ball wants to go off your bat.
So if the spin is taking the ball to the left, angle your bat to face the right and vice versa. The corkscrew serve doesn't have much forward momentum so you will need to push forward on the ball.
