Hello, I played against a player who used heavy side spin, I attempted a short push but when the ball hit my bat it shot straight to my left. I lost many points. What is the best way to handle this kind of serve?
Hi Tim,
If the ball is shooting off to the left like this you need to change the angle of your bat on the return. You don't need to do much else just find the right angle for the ball to go back straight. It is like a rudder steering the ball back onto the table.
