returning a super sidespin backspin

how can i properly return a side backspin service cause my opponent always doing that so i can win some times to him thanks

Hi Edgardo,

The idea is to use your racket as a rudder to steer the ball back onto the table.

Because the ball has backspin you will need to angle your bat upwards.  Because it also has sidespin, you will need to angle it to the side to counter the sidespin.

Experiment with these angles until you get it right.

I also have this problem, but im not sure if he puts backspin on it.  its more of just straight side spin.  He throws it up standing about 5 feet back from the table or more, then he sort of chop/push the ball (right handed, he hits HIS right side of the ball, not sure the correct name for this spin?)  but it is very slow, yet it isnt extremely high over the net.  How can i return this without setting him up for a strong hit?

This needs a bit of touch. You need to angle the bat to allow the ball to go back.  Similar to a sidespin serve, allow for the sidespin by angling your bat to the side and up if there is any backspin.

HAHAHAHA this is REALLY funny because im edgardo's opponent whos feeding him sidebackspin services.. im reallly surprised that he's now in pingskills like me... now he knows how to return my sideback serve :)

sir alois if we have time to video our lesson will really gonna show it to you sir one thing to ask to you how can i properly do a reverse pendulum service and and i can almost 50% do a reverse pendulum service .how can i can100% mastered doing it thanks sir ^_^
