Last week I glimpsed one of your lessons on this subject but I can't find it now?

it said something like you must hit a faster return and something about the bat angle.

Can you help?

Thanks STAN

Hi Stan,

Was it to keep the ball lower to prevent them from playing the faster shot.

I did a search at the top of the Ask the Coach page and found this. Returning Fast Topspins.

You may want to search around using the search function if you haven't tried it as yet.

IT WAS TRYING TO RETURN THE VERY FAST HARD TOPSPIN. THE BALL JUST KEEPS FLYING OFF THE END OF THE TABLE!

I SAW THE ITEM ON YOUR U TUBE ENTRY.

bat angle is a problem cuz if u get the angle rite it should be ok. But you need experience and a lot of practice is judge wheher how many spin on the ball. Actually top players try not to play hard topspin cuz its risky but instead use a spin and fast stroke cuz having this will help them hold on to the ball and more control
