Returning fast stroke

Strategy

Hi. When I standing close to the table and my enemy do a fast stroke, am I have to return it with a topspin (with brushing action), no spin (flat contact to the ball), or I have to move backward then I use topspin? Or what I have to do?

Hi Jason,

This depends on how much time you have to play a stroke.  If you are in a balanced position and you see the ball early then you may have time to play a topspin stroke back.  However if you are short of time then use the more economical block stroke.

Am I have to do a topspin stroke from bellow the table or on the table? (Automatically I do a little brushing action if I do the topspin on the table)

You can do it from either position.  They are just different strokes.
