What to do when our opponent does ghost serve.
Hi Karan,
As you see the ball coming slowly and ready to bounce back, get as close as you can to the table or net. You can even step around the side of the table if you think you are not going to reach the ball. Then you should hit it with a push or a flick depending on how high the ball is.
After the ball has left the server's bat, they can no longer affect the spin that is on the ball. Any movements after the contact are referred to as fake movements and are meant to confuse you as the receiver. You need to focus on the contact to read the spin.
