Hello Alois I just got a new paddle and I have a friend who serves long backspin serves to my forehand and I was wondering how do I return to the serve.

Hi Nolan,

Use the Forehand Topspin Off Backspin stroke.  The main thing is to get a good brushing contact and have a more vertical stroke to lift the ball over the net.

Fake Movements

After the ball has left the server's bat, they can no longer affect the spin that is on the ball. Any movements after the contact are referred to as fake movements and are meant to confuse you as the receiver. You need to focus on the contact to read the spin.
