when i try to do a reverse pendulum serve i am getting enough spin but i am not getting enough power to get it over the net.

Hi Sam,
Just push the bat a little more forward and this should get the ball over the net. Instead of finsihing with your swing pointing at the far net post, maybe get it to point at the net a little more. Or hit the ball a little flatter and this will also help you to get the ball to move faster forward.
