Equipment
hi alois and jeff,
i have friendship 729-02 on my fh and mark v on my bh....and i find chopping easier from my bh than on my fh...when i chop using 729 it just floats and lands outside the table whereas when i do the same with my mark v on my fh it lands perfectly..what could be the possible reason?chinese and non chinese rubber behaviour?
my 2nd question is that are chinese rubbers less active towards backspins coz when i chop a ball and my opponent who uses a chinese rubber he easily picks it up but when he uses for example mark v or bluefire he isnt able to do so...
:)
and happy friendship day to both of u
Hi Shubham,
Happy Friendship day to you...?
The Chinese rubbers have a different trajectory and tend to have a higher throw angle. A lot of defenders prefer the Chinese rubbers for this reason.
You seem to be more used to the trajectory with the Mark V. It is a matter of adjusting your stroke very slightly, perhaps a subtle change of the angle of your racket, to get the ball on the table.
There's is an old saying about guitar playing - tone is in your fingers. And If you've ever seen a really good guitarist play an old guitar then you'll understand how true that saying is. I know we go on a lot about this topic but it is so true. Once you've got yourself a decent bat, it's no longer up to the equipment, it's up to YOU!
