I am a topspin offensive player and my current paddle is DHS 4002 with hurricane 3 on forehand and hurricane 3 neo on backhand. I have a powerful backhand and an average forehand. I wanted to get a new paddle and i need your advice whether i should have DHS PG 7 or timo boll forte with tenergy 05 on backhand and hurricane 3 neo on forehand. But i am afraid i have difficulty controlling tenergy 05. Please help me.

Thanks

Hi Khang,

I will leave this up to those who know more about this combination.

Tenergy 05 is a very fast rubber so I would not recommend it unless you have very good technique and are really confident with your backhand.

Does practice help in getting used to tenergy?

Practice will help. You have to have good technique though.  That takes a while to master.
