Hi, I´m Juan from Argentina and I currently use a Butterfly SK7. With Skyline 3 #21 NEO of DHS on the FOREHAND. And a Hurricane 3 19# NEO of DHS also in the BACKHAND. This combination makes my blade very heavy. I´m 19 years old and have no problems with my forehand, i really love the topspins, serves and all moves I can execute. But talking about my backhand I can´t say the same. Is very heavy for me to execute a backhand top-spinned flick over the table. In far-from the table rallies I can hit the ball perfectly with my backhand but as it is a heavy chinese rubber it hasn´t got much control. I wonder whats your opinion. I would like to keep the Skyline but change the backhand rubber. What do you recommend? Im an extremely agressive player. Thanks for your time!

Hi Juanma,

I would say go for a softer sponge rubber that will be a bit lighter.

The rubber we would recommend is Yasaka Pryde but anything that has a softer sponge will help you out.

Tone is in Your Fingers

There's is an old saying about guitar playing - tone is in your fingers. And If you've ever seen a really good guitarist play an old guitar then you'll understand how true that saying is. I know we go on a lot about this topic but it is so true. Once you've got yourself a decent bat, it's no longer up to the equipment, it's up to YOU!
