Hi Alois!

I'm currently using Donic Sonex JP Soft in my forehand and Stiga Innova in my backhand. Do you think that these rubbers are good in looping topspin/backspin?

Hi Mario,

I haven't used these rubbers.  They both look like they have reasonable spin.  I am not sure about their throw, which determines how well it picks up the ball off backspin.  Perhaps someone else has some answers for you about these.

The rubbers we recommend for this purpose is Yasaka Pryde.  Take a look at the review by William Henzell on our site by clicking the link above.

Coach, what do you mean by throw?

The throw is the angle the ball comes off the bat when you lift the ball for example. Rubbers with a higher throw make it easier to lift a backspin ball because the friction of the rubber lifts the ball.
