It sounds weird to me. I've never known a Rubber to smell like fish!?!?

I have read many forums where people complain about DHS rubbers having a fishy smell. There are many remedies for this, however. One trick is to leave your bat out try air out instead of covering it during storage. I have also heard of people wrapping their racket in dryer sheets or leaving it out near baking soda to absorb the smell.

I have a new unused sheet of Hurricane 3 and it does smell funny.
Maybe the glue used to attach the topsheet to the sponge and/or the sponge is made from fish parts. I know there's such a thing as fish glue.
