Equipment
Hi coach!
When i have to change rubber I want to select faster rubber than i have, i got the Cobra 2000 rubber with Stiga Allround Classic.
Will Yasaka Pryde be good for me or my friend have the Xiom Omega IV Europe and i Think it's pretty good. What do you recommend.
Or it's the Vega Pro i want to choose, it is a big difference in speed and spin? If i select Omega IV Europe and next time i change will Vega pro be good for me?
As well i really want to learn how to counter sidespin in a effective way?
Thanks for your answer and your time!
Hi Erik,
Any of those rubbers will be OK. They are all quite fast. If you have played with the Omega IV and you like it then give that a try.
To counter sidespin, just use the angle of your bat. If the sidespin s taking the ball to the left, then face your bat to the other side. This is the simplest way to cope with it.
Make sure you buy a table tennis bat that is suitable for your level and allows you to develop your technique. For your first bat we recommend the PingSkills Rook, and when you upgrade to a custom bat we recommend the PingSkills Touch with Mark V or Rakza 7.
