Hi Alois/Jeff

I am planning to change the rubber on my bat as it is chipping off on the edges . I am using yasaka pryde and am wondering whether to go in for the same yasaka pryde. I have also looked at new rubbers like pryde 40 etc but as there are so many rubbers out there , I am not sure which to pick. I am looking for a rubber to play good topspins on my forehand and backhand and also the short game. Can you or anyone please give me some suggestions.

By the way the pingskills touch was a great bat and it helped me throughout my learning of various shots and getting into an intermediate stage . I was looking for an upgrade now.

Thanks

Regards

Grenville

Hi Grenville,

Hopefully others will be able to give you some good suggestions.  You are right there are so many choices out there but not many of them will make a real difference.

I would recommend to just upgrade the rubber to Vega Pro.

Choosing a Table Tennis Bat

Make sure you buy a table tennis bat that is suitable for your level and allows you to develop your technique. For your first bat we recommend the PingSkills Rook, and when you upgrade to a custom bat we recommend the PingSkills Touch with Mark V or Rakza 7.
