Hi Alois

I am from India. I found your site really useful. I am playing table tennis for last 3 years. I am not a pro but I am really a good player and play with lots of pro and I am also able to defeat them but due to studies I cant practice much.

I am currently using VSG 4000 butterfly blade. Which is good for me. I play close to table and play lot of forehand loops and can generate lot of spin and power on loops. My backhand is also good, I can jeb the ball well, can play loops as well, but my backhand blocking is bit weak.

Can you guide me which rubbers should I use on Forehand and Backhand Side.

Thank you in advance.

Hi Hardik,

There are too many options to give you just one answer.  For your forehand look for something on the more offensive side, a little higher in the speed ratings.  If it is more spin you are after you may like a rubber with a more grippy surface like the Chines type rubbers.   On the Backhand go for something with a bit more control.  This will help your blocking.

I hope this helps.  Each manufacturer has a range that will suit you.  It is a matter of finding one that fits your specifications.
