Sir, what are the major differences between seamed and seamless plastic ball? Which one is your favourite and which brand will you prefer the most?

Hi Nischay,

I don't have a preference at this stage but haven't researched them much.

Do others have information they can share?

Around a week ago, I received XuShaoFa seamless balls from a coach and ever since, they are excellent. I feel seamless balls are more durable and they have a bit more weight to it than seamed balls. It took some getting used too, since they do give off less spin and I had to adjust my angles a bit, but they do wonders depending on how you use it. Compared to my seamed DHS 3 star balls and Butterfly 3 star balls, I've never felt so good playing with a good quality ball like these, maybe Nittaku seamless balls, but they have a much similar feel to the seamed balls. For starters, I guess Nittaku seamless balls would be a good transfer from seamed to seamless, then move on to XuShaoFa balls unless your okay with the price for Nittaku balls.

Basically, as far as the brands for plastic seamless balls, I've only played with XuShaoFa and Nittaku balls, and I feel XuShaoFa are better for a "change" while Nittaku balls have a very similar feel to seamed balls - I didn't even know they were seamless until I looked at the ball itself and saw they were seamless! I hope this helps!

I've only played xiwth XuShaoFa, but I really have a feeling they break less often.

Oh that means seamless balls offer lesser speed. Thank you
