i been practicing and i cant make my serve curve at the second bounce like the pendulum or sidespin serve does, i manage to make it curve at the second bounce if i do it without much foward motion so it is kind of slow and it gives time to attack even on short serves.

 my setup is fast:

Blade: stiga maplewood nct 7

FH: Calibra lt spin

BH: Calibra lt Plus

i also use the lt spin for serve btw

Thanks in advance

Hi Heriberto,

The key is more spin.  To get this you need to brush the ball faster.  Work hard to generate more spin and you will start to see it curve at a faster speed.

The Kicker Serve

The kicker serve is one of our "must learn" serves. It's fast, fun, and has lots of topspin. It can be dangerous because if it's not fast enough and if you don't surprise your opponent then they may be able to attack it forcefully putting you on the defensive straight away. Used well though, and sparingly, it can be a great weapon. It can win you a point outright and it will stop your opponent from standing over the table waiting for your short serves since they need to be ready for anything.
