Serve hitting the edge of the table

If my serve hits the edge of the table on my opponent's side.Then, is it a let or a normal serve?

Hi Aditya,

That is a good serve. The ball can touch any part of the top of the table.

Touching the Table

Are you allowed to touch the table during play? The only thing that isn't allowed to touch the table is your free hand. You leg, elbow, playing hand, and even your bat are allowed to. You are not allowed to move the table however.
