Whenever i used to serve a side spin serve  to my opponent backhand  he always used to return my serve short on my severe backhand with a backspin effect .So how to play that shot!!

if  i push the ball than he smashes the ball!!!

Hi Ali,

Work on your push stroke to make it lower and more effective.  To do this you need to get good position with your feet first.

Practice your push a lot.  It is a stroke that is often neglected in table tennis but one we need to use in almost every rally we play to start of with.
