Service Return Video

Hi,

I've acquired your service secrets revealed video which was fanastic in teaching how to be an effective server. I was wondering if you were planning to receive a service return video as well. This is one of the vital parts of the game. I would like to know what is the best way to handle those serves ( when they are properly read ). There is a lot of emphasis in strategy and tactics on how to return a serve against different players, but perhaps that can also be explained in your video - like where to put the return and how to do it.

I am in desperate need to improve the service return part of the game.

Thanks in advance.

That's great news!

A friend of mine was confiding to me that his biggest weakness was service returns.  I replied, "what a coincidence!  mine too!"  In retrospect I suspect this wasn't such an amazing coincidence after all, and most players feel this way.  Which is hardly surprising since returning serves is arguably the hardest skill to learn.  And one reason it is so hard to learn is because it is so hard to teach.  Also, unlike other weaknesses, it is not something you can avoid (we ALL have to return serves half the time!).

Good luck on your return of service DVD.  It would fill a massive void in the current crop of instructional DVDs and should be a real must-have for any table tennis player!  (especially me!  did I mention return of service was my weakness???)

This is indeed great news; I feel the same way about my service return.  Sounds like a definite buy, if it is out within a year or so--I doubt I will play much competitively after college :(

Hey Andrew

don't stop playing and regret it later like I did!

Find a local club and play pennant competition when you finish college!
