how to use short pimples... attack and defense?
Hi Dennis,
Short pimples are good for flat hitting an fast play close to the table.
It is difficult to generate too much spin with them though. To attack with them you need to hit through flat on the stroke. To defend you have a lot of control but you don't have the ability to generate much spin. It also doesn't reverse the spin like long pimples.
The thickness of a table tennis table is the most important aspect of a table to ensure you get a true consistent bounce. Other things to consider are the net, portability, and storage space.
