Strokes
How do you return a shot that comes close to you and is so fast
Hi Shrey,
The solution is often to sway out of the way. To do this you need to have a good wide base with your legs. Ideally you want to move out of the way but when the ball is going really fast it is sometimes not possible to move in time. That is when you need to compromise and just shift the upper body to get into a reasonable position to make the shot.
A great weapon is being able to vary the amount of speed and spin on your forehand topspin stroke. By making your stroke more vertical and brushing the ball finely, you can generate more spin. For more speed you need to swing more horizontally.
