Strokes
Hi my name is diamond paddle and I can play pretty good with penhold and shakehand so should I change between the two mid match to throw the opponent off and win the point? I have a pretty good backhand with penhold and shakehand. Oh and I think I found a new way to hold the paddle which is where you hold on to the rubber like a shakehand but the handle rest on the back of your hand, if you are wondering what it's like I'll try to put on my YouTube channel diamondbullet just put in "diamondbullet's first video," it should be a video of me on a trampoline with a white shirt on, but it might be a while before I can make the video.
Hi,
Interesting concepts.
I think it is better to specialise in one grip rather than changing during a game. Not sure about the grip, I will wait for the video.
How is it that a player can always seem to get back those extremely fast topspins? Is it their incredible anticipation? The key to good anticipation actually lies in tracking the ball well. When you watch the ball closely your peripheral vision will pick up your opponents movements and with lots of practice those signs will help you anticipate what your opponent is going to do. This happens naturally with lots of experience. So it it your job to ensure that you are tracking the ball really carefully.
