Strokes
I grew up play by holding my racket kind of like the shakehand grip but with my thumb on the same side of the paddle as my index finger. Will this limit me and should I switch to the normal shake hand grip.
Thanks
Hi Mason,
I would certainly give the traditional grips a try. Β
The index finger and thumb on the same side will limit the flexibility of the wrist and also the use of one side of your bat. Β Do you tend to use the one side of the racket all the time?
Give the shake hand grip a try and see how you get on. Β It shouldn't be a big change.
