Hi sir,

I want to ask whether there are any restriction on shouting after winning a point? Because while playing matches I shouts after winning a point and my friends ask not to shout it is a kind of a fault and at higher level of matches you'll be given warning on shouting.

Hi Rajat,

There are no real restrictions for shouting after the point unless you are interrupting other players or matches.

I think it is best to work with this around you to make sure everyone is happy.

Be sure not to shout before it is absolutely sure that your opponent cannot touch the ball anymore. Sometimes I see players that shout right after hitting a smash that they think cannot come back, while actually a good defender still has a small chance to be on it. That would be disturbing your opponent and should be a fault.

That reminds me about how to suppress the shouting completely regardless of the reason.
Anyone knowing how to do it?
