Serving
Hi Alois, how to do the sidebackspin serve and can i stand a littleaway from the table (like 30 cm or something like that)when serving.
Hi John,
It is best to stand close to the table when you are serving. If you stand a little further back you will give your opponent more time to see what spin is on the ball.
If you think of the ball as a clock face, to get the side and back spin you need to hit the ball at about 5 or 7.
We go through this in detail in our Serving Secrets lessons.
