Hi Alois, how to do the sidebackspin serve and can i stand a littleaway from the table (like 30 cm or something like that)when serving.

Hi John,

It is best to stand close to the table when you are serving.  If you stand a little further back you will give your opponent more time to see what spin is on the ball.

If you think of the ball as a clock face, to get the side and back spin you need to hit the ball at about 5 or 7.
