My doubt is that I really don't know where to hit the ball when I do a forehand sidespin stroke. I dont know if I have to hit it in one of the sides or hit like above the ball's center but a little to the side?

Hi Jose,

The sidesoin flick is difficult with the forehand because of the angle of your wrist and arm.  You can make a sidespin forehand topspin from away from the table though.

To do this you need to contact the ball on the side and top of the ball so you are getting both sidespin and topspin on the ball.  You need the topspin to get the ball on the table with a bit of speed.  Take a look at our lesson on the Sidespin Forehand Topspin.
