sidespin hook loop

hello, I have some trouble with the sidespin hook loop.Ho do i get pure sidespin on it and how do i make it bounce on to the table while it is going sideways ?

Hi Yiejian,

Take a lok at the lesson on the Sidespin forehand topspin.  This will give you the basics of how to do the stroke correctly.

The ball will travel forwards because it is gripping into the rubber.  It will spin sideways because of the friction of the rubber.

Good luck with this very tricky technique.  Make sure you master the forehand topspin first.
