I've been stopping my training for about 2 months because of my tough college. I played several matches tonight and I played very, very, VERY badly.

How severe a table tennis player suffer a skill reduction after stop practicing in a period of time?

Also, how to minimize this? Will a player suffer the different amount of reduction compared with another?

Hi Erriza,

This is really normal.  After a break you will lose some form.  You should just be patient with this.  Take it slowly for a few days of training and you will soon find that your skills will come back to normal.

We could have called this master class never give up. It's amazing when you are on the back foot in a rally how many times you can actually win the point just by making your opponent play one extra ball. Watch the video to find out how effective this is and how you can practice this skill.
