hi coaches,

Is there any significant effect if i will slightly sand the face my blade, stiga rosewood nct v? The reason for this is that i have a hard time sticking the rubber due to its slippery coat (i believe its the nct coating). And someone adviced me to slightly sand the surface before sticking the rubber. Can i do this without ruining the performance of the blade?

Hi Patrick,

Yes it is OK to sand the blade lightly.  This will get the shiny finish off the blade and help to stick the rubber properly.

How light should i sand it? I mean how should i know if it is enough already? And should i use a fine sanding paper or a rough one?

Use a fine paper and you will see when the varnish has come off when the gloss has gone.
