Hi Jeff and Alois, I have been playing table tennis for a few months and learnt shots such as the forehand & backhand loop amongst others. The only trouble is returning smash shots and fast loops. Do you have any tips on how to do this? And also could you review the butterfly bryce rubber and yasaka mark v?
Hi Hung,
It is good that you have learnt so many strokes. The other strokes are the defensive strokes. You can take a look at th elesson on the Backhand Block and the Lob . These will help you with your defense.
The defensive strokes are quite improtant because you can not always prevent your opponent from making the first attack. We don't really do rubber reviews but I can tell you that the Bryce is a fast rubber that is good for attacking play. Mark V is a greatrubber with good mix of control speed and spin. After only a few months of play I would go with the Mark V rather than Bryce.
