Soaking your rubbers in sunflower oil?

I've heard of a handful of ways to increase the life of your rubbers,but I have never heard of this one. Instead of explaining it,I'll let you see for yourself.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ys13rLMzezM&feature=related

Is there any validity to any of this?

Hi Brian,

I haven't tried this.  If anyone else has done it they can give an opinion.  I know that it would be illegal though.  It may be OK for a practice bat.
