hi guys,

I try to do spinny topspins. But i dont get any spin into my balls. They are all very hard with nearly no spin.

Do i have to use my wrist in the point of hitting the ball? or just let it straight?

I dont know if its because of my movement while doing a topspin, but i also begin under the table with turning my body.

Help please !!!^^

Hi Kim,

My first advice is to not try so hard.  This will tighten your arm and wrist and mean less spin.

Secondly, it is the contact of bat on ball that is important.  It needs to be a brushing action to get spin.  Often for a slow spinny topspin you need to have a much more vertical stroke and then get some good racket head speed to get the ball to spin more.  This is done by getting the bat to come through on one plane and gently brushing the ball. Think about as fine a contact as you can.

Keep trying it, you will get there.
