I play at an amateur level. But it is not that simple as it sounds. It is a bit complicated but I'll try and explain it. You see I am at the brink of being 20 yrs old. I didn't play table tennis at all before a year ago. As I joined college for my graduation I was curious about TT. But as I searched youtube you guys inspired me to play TT. I play with my friends in college. I am seriously considering to play it on a higher level. Do you think i have a chance of playing with people who have been training since 10-11 years of age??

Sincerely,

Hi Arnab,

Firstly it is great that you are inspired about your Table Tennis. Don't worry so much about what others can do.  Think about how you can improve.  See how far you can go with it.

I know some players that started at a late stage and are now very good Table Tennis players.  If you keep playing for 10 years you will definitely reach a good level.  Who knows hoe many of those players that started when they were 10 will still be playing in 10 years.

You can also catch those players in level depending on how much you train and focus on your improvement.
