Dear Alois and Jeff, I am usatt 2200

I don't know but I am stuck in a major equipment dilemma. Need your help to come out of it.

I am playing since last 10 yrs,

My first setup was Jonyer Hinoki and mark 5 both sides.

After going up I switched  to tbs with sriver max on both sides. I was pretty comfortable with that setup. But that was a  slow setup in today's tensor world. So I decided to upgrade my equipment recently.

So I switched to bty tb alc with tenergy05 on both sides,  played with that for 3 months and didn't like that stiff setup.

I went for bty viscaria and I liked that blade so much with its flex and catapult coming from wood but tenergy05 on both sides is causing a hole in my pocket.

Somebody recommended me a dhs hurricane neo 3 commercial version,  so I got one for my forehand, it's a good rubber but some how I am not able to adjust to it.

Backhand I don't want to compromise and keep using tenergy05.

But my forehand has been screwed up totally and I have totally lost forehand feeling. I am frustrated and worried a lot. I want to keep using viscaria and 05 on back hand but what do I get for my forehand to get my forehand back.

I don't want tenergy05 on my forehand , what other cheaper yet powerful rubber should I go for on my forehand , I had really earned my forehand after a lot of practice and effort.

Plz Get me out of this dilemma.

Hi Ninux,

A forehand rubber that I like is Vega Pro.  I am not that focused on equipment so others are probably better at giving you advice on this.

Thanks Alois for your prompt response.  As you said even I don't want to get into equipment.  The Game itself is having so many dimensions and dynamics I am yet to learn , who has time to waste on equipment, but yes will try Vega pro on my forehand

Thanks.

Thanks Alois for your advice, Played with vega pro and found it really great suiting my style where I like mid-low throw rubbers

on my forehand. Also I can change it often as its not that constly.

Awesome , need to practice to get back my forehand touches . And with Viscaria it works really great.

Thanks Alois , cheers, keep rolling.

Hi Ninux Ad,

I have a question to you on your first setup. I am playing TT close to 6 years with premade bats on corporates. I too like to have a custom bat with the set-up similar to yours. (i.e.) Butterfly Jonyer Hinoki II with Mark V rubbers on both sides. As I already know Mark V is perfect rubber to start with for a first custom bat but I would like to get a feedback about the blade - Butterfly Jonyer Hinoki. I have got the review feedback on other sites that this hinoki blade have high vibration during smash, unique sound, very light weight ... etc. Considering the weight - I am OK, as I like only light-weight bats. I am little worried about it's vibration and sound, whether will it impact our game to a little extent. Can you help me to give your inputs on this specific blade

Thanks in advance,

Som
