Suggest a stroke for this weird serve

Receiving

Hey guys, I have a trouble receiving this serve that is really low and a little fast...

It bounces twice on the table but it's not a short serve...  Plus it has a little sidespin...

I think it has backspin because the ball bounces really low...

I can only receive it using a backhand block, but that gives my opponent an advantage because I'm more of an aggressive kind of player...

I was wondering if you have any suggestions of any kind of stroke I could use aside from the block?

BTW I'm a penholder...

Thanks! ^^

Hi Jin,

It sounds like they are doing a fast short topspin serve.

The best way to return this is to make a flick return.  Take a look at the lesson on the Forehand Flick in our lessons.
