Switch from anti to short pimples

i use butterfly super anti on backhand but it has got limitations as i cant hit backhand winners or backhand topspin,but my block is very good using this rubber as it has its deceptive effect,i m able to win a few games with top ranked players in my category. can i switch to short pimpled rubber on backhand as i m gud at chop/push/cut.i need a rubber to counter spin serves and give back some deceptive effect.

Hi Pradeep,

The short pimples won't have the same effect as the anti but it will help you with returning spin a little compared to inverted rubber.  It will help you to hit backhand attacking shots though.  I would give it a try and see how it feels for your game.
