Hello again Alois...

I wanna build my own table tennis, cause i wanna save some money... So, you have a knowledge about a special wood or some material I could use?? I know the surface is very important to the ball bounce... I know the correct size, the only thing I want to know is what kind surface can I use?

You think it's a good idea?

Hi German,

You can use a chipboard wood.  The harder woods are better and faster but they are also more expensive to use.  You can use a plywood or Marine ply as well.

Then you need to think about the paint as well.

I think it is actually cheaper and easier to buy a table nowadays.

Others may have some ideas for you.

Choosing a Table Tennis Table

The thickness of a table tennis table is the most important aspect of a table to ensure you get a true consistent bounce. Other things to consider are the net, portability, and storage space.

here in the usa, you can get a good used table on craigslist for less than $100, and you are gonna spend that much at least to build your own table, plus a lot of time, plus you will get an inferior end-product (out-of-balance/level, bad bounce, splinters, dangerous corners/edges, etc.).  you'll end up spending more on your paddle and rubbers anyhow...
