Strokes
Hello
I've been wondering the difference between the two. All the time, I prefer to make a thick brushing either when I do a serve or when I do a topspin. I can only make a thin contact on a backspin ball.
What are the effects on the ball after I make a thick or thin brushing? When to use either thick or thin contact?
Thanks in advance
Hi Ittipat,
Thin brushing will get you more spin. You can make the ball spin around by getting it to turn with your brushing action.
If you hit the ball thick you are not able to turn the ball as well. If you hit it thicker you will be able to generate more speed but not as much spin.
