Equipment
Hi , Coaches ,
Can you say when purchasing new rubbers which way do you go as a moderate newbie i look at the different thicknesses & a" MIST " arises, is the choices too much or do they all have a purpose?
regards Phil.
Hi Phil,
The thicker the sponge the more spin and speed you will be able to generate.
I would go for a slyer type of rubber and go for a 2mm thickness. We put 2mm Mark V on our rackets for players similar to you.
The thickness of a table tennis table is the most important aspect of a table to ensure you get a true consistent bounce. Other things to consider are the net, portability, and storage space.
