Hi, i'm sorry if i ask these questions for the third time, but nobody has ever answered theme... i would like to know if the thickness of a rubber has an influence on the spin and the difference between a hard sponge and a soft sponge. thank you
Hi Andrea,
Check out this link.
The harder sponge works well with tacky rubber. The softer sponges work well with both, because the ball can sink into the sponge more and wrap around the ball. If you have a more horizontal swing the harder sponge will suit you.
The thickness of a table tennis table is the most important aspect of a table to ensure you get a true consistent bounce. Other things to consider are the net, portability, and storage space.
