Hi sir,

Which is the good thickness for Yasaka Mark V

2.0 , 2.2 or max?

Hi Ekansh,

They are all good.  It depends on which one suits you at the time.

The thicker the sponge the faster and more spin you will be able to generate.  If you are looking for more spin and speed then go with the Max thickness.

I thought the rubber was for spin?

The ball will sink a little into the sponge - as it is pushed out, the rubber pushes on the ball generating spin. Some rubbers are tacky and they grip the ball more and don't rely so much on the ball sinking into the sponge but will slow the ball down a little.
