Strokes
hi coach my problem is when i started serving and my opponent receive it and he made the ball short when i receive it using slightly chop under the ball i always do a long one thats why my opponent always loop it and its hard for me to receive it.This is my question coach how can i do a receive that is close to the net so that my opponent cant attack it.
Hi Prince,
This is an advanced but important part of the game.
To keep that ball short, you need to have a soft relaxed hand and wrist. This will absorb some of the speed of the ball. You really don't need a lot of forward action with the stroke. Almost just let the ball hit the bat and rebound off. It also take a bit of touch to be able to perfect it.
This comes with more practice of the stroke.
